Sakina Ahmad is The Nicholson Project’s Residencies and Programs Coordinator, where she supports the organization’s Artist Residencies programs. She is an arts administrator and curator whose practice centers artists of color across the diaspora—especially those too often overlooked, including artists rooted in cultural traditions, emerging storytellers, and creatives at the margins. She earned her BA in Arts & Mass Communications from Virginia Commonwealth University and her MA in Art & Museum Studies from Georgetown University.
