Charmaine Mapp is The Nicholson Project’s Residency and Programs Coordinator, where she supports artist residencies, programs, and development efforts. She is an emerging arts and cultural worker and has worked with multiple art organizations, including Washington Project for the Arts and Art West Asia Projects, and currently serves as a gallery assistant at Touchstone Gallery. Charmaine has contributed to the coordination of various exhibitions and is the creator of a public program that promotes art appreciation among DMV artists of African descent. She received her BS in Business and Art History from George Mason University.
